DIY: Crow’s Nest Wreath

Happy Monday, everyone!

Today’s project is super easy. I actually made this a few years ago and it has been one of my favorite pieces of decor. I add different things to it each time I put it up, but this is how it looks now. I did buy a bigger bird for the top at the dollar store, but I haven’t gotten around to adding it quite yet. I always plan on making a white one for the holidays and that never happens, but who knows, maybe this will be the year!

What you’ll need: 3ft x 3ft felt piece/ Scissors/ Wreath form/ Glue gun

Step One: Cut out leaf/feather shapes from your felt. I made mine around 3 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide, but this was a rough estimate, I think it looks better when the pieces aren’t uniform.

Step Two: Use your glue gun to attach each felt feather piece. Off set each row so they alternate, continue until you make your way around the entire wreath.

Step Three: Decorate as you please. I added a crow and some cobwebs on mine. For a friend’s, we added black flowers and a larger crow in the middle. There is so much you could do!

XOXO enjoy!
