Spring Wishlist

Spring Wishlist/ Let's G Sunning

Spring is just around the corner. It would probably be a bit more exciting if snow was melting, slowly showing a promise of summer, but alas, in San Francisco, Spring, is a mere extension of a foggy winter. I tend to refrain from shopping in the spring, it’s a good place to start saving for summer vacations and excursions out of the city, but these few things have me rethinking my spending fast.

I have had my eye on the Heath Ceramic Coupe Dinner Set for a while. Right now, we have are rocking the cheapest dishes from Ikea, circa 2008. They are scratched and chipped and the work fine, but the more I look into Heath Ceramics, the more I want to give them my money. Is that weird? Take a look at their responsibilities page. It makes me so happy! Okay that was a longer tangent than I planned.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are planning on having a great weekend!

Pinterest Faves For December

Pinterest Faves for Dec

I can’t believe December has already passed. Last month I didn’t get around to this post and I’ve been holed up in my house playing video games since Christmas, so I’m a little late on this one.  I keep thinking I’ll taper off on Pinterest and lose interest, but it has now been a full year since I’ve been using it and I still love it! So without further ado, here are my faves from last month.

Clockwise from top left:

1. I love this print from This Paper Ship! I love everything about it, but what I love more is that 90% of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. You buy the print here.

2.The Winter Cabin Collection is a really cool project by Mary Kate McDevitt, Man Vs. Ink, and Wanderlust Vintage. The result is a vintage wood cabin vibe with amazing type and quality fabrics. I am in love.

3. I love this studio tour of Sarah Sherman Samuel‘s workspace. I am completely jealous.

4. A fun publicity shot. They shot Abbott and Costello Meets Frankenstein and Mr. Peabody and The Mermaid at the same time, what resulted, was this amazingness.

5. Can this room get any better? The sign was a decommissioned from a Georgia route and that trunk can’t get any more amazing. Check out the whole house tour here.

6. I love this snack. It’s so fatty and delicious.

Pinterest Faves: Wedding Edition

When I got married Pinterest didn’t exist yet.  My dear friend Mindy is getting married in two weeks and all the wedding boards have feeling pretty smiley. I’m so excited to share with everyone the projects we’ve done for the wedding. It’s going to be beautiful!

Fourth Of July Inspiration

Fourth of July is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited. Last year I spent the fourth with my family playing lawn games and lounging in a kiddie pool, and while I’m a little bummed I won’t be able to do that this year, I’m still pretty stoked for this year.

While I appreciate all the beautiful patriotic themed parties, I feel the best part of this holiday is that it’s low key. Sunshine and a BBQ is generally all you need to have the perfect day. This year I plan to spend the day with my friends in Berkeley (which hopefully will have more sun the city) eating and drinking. Even if the sun doesn’t show up, it’s shaping up to be pretty amazing.
